    Unanswered: Ext.ux.GroupTabPanel: Issue with "setActiveTab" in Ext JS 4.1?

    Hi,

    I tried the GroupTabPanel example of Ext JS 4.1 and added only the 'id'
    ...
    items: [{
    xtype: 'grouptabpanel',
    id: 'GroupTabPanel',
    activeGroup: 0,
    items: [{
    ...

    plus
    ....
    myGroupTabPanel = Ext.getCmp('GroupTabPanel');
    myGroupTabPanel.setActiveTab(2);
    ...
    at the end of the script.

    What happend was only a change of tab content but not selecting/highlighting of second tab.
    Using of 'setActiveGroup(2)' was not successful too.
    What did I wrong?

    Regards,
    kanape

    Use this instead:
    Code:
    myGroupTabPanel = Ext.getCmp('#GroupTabPanel');
    Instead of using id you might instead use itemId. With id you can only use a single ID per web page - any others will cause a collision. itemId as a config can be used in its place in most cases and itemId can be used multiple times on the web page - just a single use per parent container.
