Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for a bug in our system in a recent build.

    REQUIRED INFORMATION


    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 4.2.0
    • Ext 4.2.1.744-beta
    Browser versions tested against:
    • IE8
    • Chrome
    • IE9
    Description:
    • The triggerfield (for the combobox and datefield) is rendered incorrectly under IE8 in classic theme. (Looks fine under neptune). (It also looks fine in Chrome and IE9 with classic theme)
    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • Run the Ext JS 4.2 Samples / Forms / Field Types sample in IE8
    • Change the theme to classic
    The result that occurs instead:
    • rendering of datefield and combobox trigger is too high w/ white space below

    I'm not seeing that issue when I test. Do you know if your IE8 is in IE8/Standards mode?

    Our IE8 is in quirks mode. When it is put into IE8/Standards mode the bug disappears.

    Ok. Thx. I just tested with the latest 4.2.1 Beta Nightly and the issue appears to be fixed.
