    Unanswered: Ext4 and xml

Does ext js have an xml class or utility class to build an xml string that can be saved as a local file with Desktop packager write functions. In Actionscript 3 we had the xml class that we could construct xml nodes and the convert to string and write to a txt file (with Air or an exe wrapper) to be used by another app later. It can't just be serializing a model to xml either. Model structure of the app is different from the export format of the xml file.

    Thanks for the help!

There's not a stand-alone XML writer utility, but there is a writer class used to write XML back to the server from a proxy that you might be able to peek at the source on and make something of.
