    Unanswered: Sound and Video

I put HTML5 files as sources containing sound, but no sound is played.

HTML5 inside browser --> plays sound
HTML5 inside Desktop Packager --> no sound is played

Do I need to convert this to a special codec?

Try to use Ogg Vorbis audio, see if that works for you.

Default OGG Vobis is not supported by Adobe

I am trying to wrap up an Adobe Captivate file. But OGG Vobis is not supported, neither is WebM.

But as video and sound were a prime requirements the project was skipped.

    Default mp3 not supported?

    mp3 not supported?

Am I understanding from the semi-cryptic message above that mp3 is not supported?

Is there a reference to supported audio and video container formats?

The release notes (see the online documentation, or the offline version as part of SDP download):

Supported media containers are Ogg (Vorbis audio, Theora video) and WebM

How difficult would it be to implement mp3/mp4 support?
