Hi, Just been trying out Sencha Touch 2.3 beta and think I've spotted a but with the side menu and the navigationView. I'm seeing that tapping the back button seems to bring the side menu into view which I wouldn't have expected. Just wanted to clarify whether this was due to set-up of the demo or an actual bug.
Click/Tap on User Interface, then scroll down to Menu on the left hand list of options.
Click/Tap "Menus", now tap the "Show left menu".
Click/Tap any of the buttons that appear in the slide out menu.
Now tap the "Back" button, the left hand slide out menu will appear, as well as the main menu resetting itself (as it should). It shouldn't appear as I only tapped back to go back a page, not to call out the left hand slider menu.
Now navigate to any other option in the list, perhaps Data.
Now tap the "back" button and the slide out menu will appear on the left again..... it shouldn't do as I never selected it.
This issue only seems to happen with the left slide out menu. It also only seems to appear after visiting the Menus page, I can navigate through the entire Kitchen Sink app without issue, but once I visit the Menus page, then every time I tap the back button I see the left hand slide out menu item appear.
I'm using Google Chrome on a Mac OS 10.8.4
I imagine it's just a set up issue with the Kitchen Sink app, but thought I'd mention it in case! Love the fact we at last have the slide out menus in Sencha!!!!
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. It has been fixed in the latest nightly build of the Sencha Touch 2.3.0 beta. If you are a support customer you can download it from: https://support.sencha.com/#nightlies
Please note that the menu also opens if you swipe the edge of the screen.
Tried downloading the touch-2.3-20130808.zip archive on my Mac (10.8.4) but it errors out with an error saying whatever directory I'm trying to expand into does not exist. Is this archive Mac compatible? Thanks!
