Answered: Invalid binary file when submitting the app to BB world

    Hi,

I have multiple error on each file contained on the zip package generated by Ripple.. After launching "package & sign" with valid certificates, I send the resulting zip file to BB World and have all this errors.

Does any of you happen to bypass this ?

    Thanks

  2. I've packaged a few apps, but I always go with the terminal route instead of using Ripple. Here's the blackberry guide for this.

    It's just a few commands.

1 - You use Sencha Cmd for compressing everything (sencha app build package)
2 - Create a zip file of the output
    3 - Run bbwp to package it ./bbwp blablabla/Archive.zip -d -o ~/Desktop/blackberryapp

Done, you have the .bar file to deploy to device or simulator

Thanks, I finally fixed it . I read the guidelines before but choose to use Ripple instead of the command line.
So if others need info, I built with sencha then created the config.xml app and used this command line :

    ➜ Blackberry ./bbwp App.zip -d -o ~/Desktop/App -g "yourpassword"

Then I zip the bar file inside the App/device/ folder and send this to BB who accepted it as a draft.
    Thanks again to @bt_bruno.
