    Default Unanswered: ViewPort zoom

    Unanswered: ViewPort zoom

    Hi all,

    I have an issue with the viewport on an application I writing when run on the Z10. I've tried this both on a physical Z10 and simulator with the same results for both. The first screen with a search text field displays with a scaled down look to it. Sometimes when focusing on the input text field and always when pressing the backspace key within the field the viewport zooms in and the scaled down looks disappears as the page now displays twice its size.

    I can recreate the scaled down look in Safari when changing the User Agent to match that of the Z10 however of course I cannot recreate the zoom issue I am having.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi There,

    Here is an article, which talks about setting the viewport for your BB 10 application.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks

    Hi Naveen,

    Many thanks for your reply. The Sencha Touch platform does this and all looks correct as far as I can see.

    Can anyone help with this at all? Looks to be quite a big fault so assume others have run into the same issue.

    It appears commenting out

    Code:
    if (navigator.standalone) {
                addMeta('viewport', 'width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, minimum-scale=1.0');
            }
            else {
                addMeta('viewport', 'initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, minimum-scale=1.0');
            }
    On line 9554 of sencha-touch.js seems to resolve the problem. Is this a bug? Will this fix cause issues on other platforms?

    Hi There,

    Have you resolved the issue? If the issue is related to sencha-touch.js, will you be able to file a bug in the Sencha's issue tracker?

    Thanks
