Default Unanswered: [REQ] Code validation disable/improvement

    Unanswered: [REQ] Code validation disable/improvement

    Why:
For me on an i5 PC with 6gb ram it's insanely slow if you have around 10 or more lines of code in the current code edit window - seems to validate on every key press with what seems like < 1 second delay causing validation errors and becoming unresponsive if you are in the middle of typing.

    Suggestions:
    • If there is a delay: Increase the delay of auto validation by a couple of seconds / or allow us to configure the delay.
    • Allow disabling of auto validation / or manual validation (perhaps a button next to the 'Export to disk' & 'Copy to clipboard' buttons)
This is on the preview version of v3. On the latest v3 build it's even worse.

At the moment I type all my code in an external editor and paste it in - kinda defeats the idea of having the editor :P

    Just saying...

You can toggle the 'jsHint' in code editor button in settings to off.

Runs well for me on MBPR 8Gb Ram i5

Do you have the latest version of java and 1.9 of Ruby?

would be great tho if you could 'configure' it.

    Salakar -

Do these performance problems happen on all projects or is it on a particular project? If its a specific project could you please provide us the project and steps to reproduce?
