Default Manipulating dom nodes as Ext.Elements within <head> seems to fail

Manipulating dom nodes as Ext.Elements within <head> seems to fail

E.g., I'm trying to dynamically add a stylesheet to the document's header, however I get the following exception:

Uncaught NotSupportedError: The implementation did not support the requested type of object or operation.

    Example here: http://new.senchafiddle.com/#/OMuT4/

What version of Sencha Touch are you using? I can't repro with Touch 2.2.1.

I would suggest upgrading, but if that is not a option you could try comparing the createChild method of Touch 2.1 to Touch 2.2.
