    Default Unanswered: Use of User Extensions for Custom Grid Filter

    Unanswered: Use of User Extensions for Custom Grid Filter

    I was attempting to use the new user extensions concept with the 'custom filter' example which allows you to add the 'filter' feature to a grid. The idea was to leverage this as a user extension instead of having to override the grid in Sencha Architect.

    I created the user extension package (.aux file) and was able to successfully add it into Sencha Architect. However, it does not appear anywhere in the toolbox.

    So this resulted in two questions:
    1/ Is this a valid scenario to use user extensions for?
    2/ If yes to #1, any ideas on what I am doing wrong? The package definition is below

    Code:
    {    "name": "GridFilter",
        "type": "code",
        "creator": "anonymous",
        "summary": "Short summary",
        "detailedDescription": "Long description of package",
        "version": "1.0.0",
        "compatVersion": "1.0.0",
        "format": "1",
        "local": true,
        "architect": {
            "compatFrameworks": [
                "touch22"
            ],
            "classes": [{
                "className": "Ext.ux.GridFilter",
                "definition": "gridfilter.js",
                "js": [
                    "FiltersFeature.js"
                ],
                "css": [
                    "FiltersFeature.css"
                ]
            }]
        },
        "css": [
            "FiltersFeature.css"
        ],
        "requires": []
    }

    Unfortunately no... didn't have too much time with other deadlines so ended up just having to do a custom override on the component in Architect. Ideally will get this setup properly as an extension but it's just had to get pushed down on the priority list once I had the other approach working
