    In review the code, it seems that only onGroupClick is active. (place listener on grid for groupClick) for when toggling the state of the group (collapsed)

    Will this work for you?

    I need it for showing a panel, not for collapsing settings

    Thanks for the report! I have opened a bug in our bug tracker.

    You could just use a menu for now?

    Code:
        menuContext = new Ext.menu.Menu({
            items: [{
                text: 'Do something'
            }],
            listeners: {
                itemclick: function(item) {
                    // handle click
                }
            }
        });
    Code:
            listeners: {
                groupcontextmenu: function(view, node, group, e, eOpts) {
                    e.stopEvent();
                    menuContext.showAt(e.getXY());

                }
            }
