    Default callParent() inside of Ext.Msg.confirm() doesn't work

    callParent() inside of Ext.Msg.confirm() doesn't work


    It looks that I have found a bug. Can somebody from Sencha confirm it. Here is the report:

    This is not a bug you trying to callParent within the context of a different funtion the Ext.Msg callback function. You should use the following instead
    Code:
    stcustom.field.TextArea.superclass.onClearIconTap.apply(me, args);
    Another thing me.config.confirmClear should be me.getConfirmClear()

    @fmoseley: Thank you very much, that works! I've tought that the "me" argument inside Ext.Msg would set the correct context:

    Code:
      
    ...
    var me = this;
    ...
    Ext.Msg.confirm('Confirmation', 'Clear text?', function(btn, text) {
                            ...
                        }, me);
    What does the "me" there? The docs say the last argument is "The scope of the callback function". Are scope and context different things? What is the difference?
