Unanswered: How to save edited data into database

    Hi,
I have a grid in which I have some editable fields. My question is, how can I save these edited data :-
    a) locally, should not be saved permanently into database.
    b) permanently saved.
I have these two options because I want to save these updated data into database only if admin approves of it, until then it should be saved only locally.
Please suggest me the best way to do it considering the response time/ performance.

The application will be on the web, and users make changes, but those changes should only be saved to their local machine unless an admin approves, and then their changes are saved to the database?

If that's the case then it gets tough because your app is typically sandboxed from the user's local machine.

Ok. If we exclude that local storage part, how to store the edited data into database permanently??
