    Answered: Cmd fails initialization in Architect 3


    When i try to save project i get message that cmd was failed to initialize.
    i added screenshot made on my mac please someone help me.

    I had the same problem. I tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling but it still didn't work.

    But saving to my Desktop worked. Wondering why it would work saving to one folder and not another, I noticed the original folder contained a hidden .sencha folder.

    After removing this everything worked for me.

    NB: you can view hidden folders in the terminal with: ls -a

    If you can't see a .sencha folder, try looking up the folder hierarchy.

    Thanks - that was very helpful.

    In my case I am on windows and there was a .sencha directory in the inetpub\wwwroot.

    I renamed it, and it is now working.

    Cmd will go up the structure to look for a top level .sencha folder. Get rid of any that you think are out of place. If it's a single project, there should just be a .sencha folder in the root of the project. If you're using a workspace the .sencha folder will be in the workspace root.
