This appears to be a known issue TOUCH-180 that was left unresolved as support for BB6 was dropped in Touch 2.3.x I know in the past people have used password fields instead of text fields to work around this issue. Though not elegant it would resolve this issue. Another workaround you may want to try is packaging your app with Cordova. Though I have not tested this.
With phonegap / cordova also it didn't worked . Even we tried to embed the URL in native BRowser field .
Password field hides the details of all text field so no use . Is there any elegant work around which can be given to end user ?
Thanks in advance.
Sorry about that found that suggestion from another post. I assumed that the user was overriding the style of the password field to display the text, but doesn't look like that is possible. According to the Jira ticket this issue does not occur when sencha-touch.css is not included and is caused by something in our css file.
