    Unanswered: Tab Bar Button Style outside of a tabbar?

    How does one go about getting the exact layout/style of a tab bar button outside of a tabbar and then scale it bigger? basically i want a bunch of square buttons that have the icon on top of the text....

    Unfortunately I don't think there's an "official" way. What I would do is inspect the button you wish to recreate, then when you want to create it, simply make your tpl look exactly like that. You may end up adding the sencha dynamic classes yourself, but it'll work:
    Code:
    <div class="x-tab x-tab-normal x-tab-icon x-iconalign-left x-layout-box-item x-stretched x-tab-active x-tab-pressed" id="ext-tab-1" style="">
      <span id="ext-element-99" class="x-badge" style="display: none;"></span>
      <span class="x-button-icon x-shown search" id="ext-element-101"></span>
      <span id="ext-element-100" class="x-button-label" style="">Search</span>
    </div>
    The orange class may be different for you, I had added a custom icon in my application so it may be different when you inspect.

    You could use this bit of code in your tpl, even adding things like {label} to make the text dynamic.
