Hey all,

I have a TabPanel that adds space after clicking certain tabs.

Sometimes the tab removes the underlying space, other times the tab replaces it.

The environment requires an SVG embed directly underneath tabs (so basically only the tab bar is needed).

Nothing in CSS stood out (padding-bottom, padding-top, etc) when using firebug.

Firefox does not add the space.

When omitting the CSS, the space still exists in IE.

It looks isolated to IE.

Googling it, I've seen suggestions for additions such as:
float: left;
to fix this.

Something similar exists in the API Documentation under TabPanel(floating:true).
Not sure how to use..., or even if it is the way to go?

Has anyone run across anything similar to this...and; any recommendations?

Here is the code:
Tutorial-based.

Thanks!

HTML:
<!-- APPLICATION-TABS -->
<div id="tabs1" > <div id="script" class="x-hide-display"> </div> <div id="markup" class="x-hide-display"> </div> </div>
<!--Bad-Space-For-Some-Tabs-Generally-On-Second-Click-->
<!--SVG-EMBED-->
<span>
<embed src="svg/GeoPortlet.svg" cx="100" y="100" id="geoSvg" type="image/svg+xml" name="geoSvg" height="60%" width="100%"/>
</span>

JS:
//////APPLICATION-TABS//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
var tabs = new Ext.TabPanel({
renderTo: 'tabs1',
width:'100%',
activeTab: 0,
frame:true, //Trying to minimize body to display Tab structure only.
height:0,
hideBorders:true,
plain:true,
defaults:{autoScroll: false},
items:[
{contentEl:'markup', title: 'ViewPoint'},
{contentEl:'markup', title: 'Address Management', listeners: {activate: addressActivate}},
{contentEl:'markup', title: 'Franchise Management',disabled:true},
{contentEl:'markup', title: 'Node Analysis',disabled:true},
{contentEl:'markup', title: 'Home Passed',disabled:true},
{contentEl:'markup', title: 'GeoProfits',disabled:true},
{contentEl:'markup', title: 'Help'}
]
});

/* HERE IS A BUNCH OF IDEAS FROM API review
-- Not sure which to hunt down
//height:0, //Having the four below uncommented causes the space at load time, without them the space only displays on second-click of a tab(&not the last tab).
//border:false,
//bodyborder:false,
//hideBorders:true,
//floating:true, //This could work, if it overlaps and displays behind the embed below it. Tips on shadow usage?
//bodyStyle:none,?
//layout: ?,
//layoutOnTabChange:false, //Did not do the trick.
//resizeTabs:true,
//would a usage of collapse work?
//Is there a way to trap and reset the error with getInnerHeight() > 0?
//could I add logic to beforeTab & tabchange()?
