what do you use for an editor?
what do you use for an editor?
I know everyone here uses firebug, as do I, but when you code, a large chunks of my mistakes are caught by some kind of front end code editor. I am using komodo because most of what I do is perl and php, but trying to learn javascript on the fly and komodo supports that as well. It doesn't help with anything but syntax, but so far it's been extemely helpful. It catches the commas I wouldn't usually

What do you guys use outside of firebug?

I use VI(M) (depends on the system), Dreamweaver 3 and Eclipse w/ the flex extension.

Also check the blog and search the forums for this. There is a blog which Jack gave rundown on some options and there have been threads on this in the forum, also I believe there's a bit in the FAQ section.
