    Default Problem with tree updating when changed (cache issue maybe)

    Problem with tree updating when changed (cache issue maybe)

    Hi, this may be a dumb question and may already be answered but i coultn find a good answer.

    Anyways, i have a TreePanel simply uses an array to store the children of the root node.

    When i change the array around it doesnt get reloaded with the new array when i refresh the page.

    Im assuming its some type of chaching problem, but using firebug I can see that the correct JS file is being loaded, and it is the updated one.

    I really cant see why it isnt being updated.

    any ideas?

    Note: The array for children and the tree itself is inside a seperate JS file and is simple loaded into the main js file as follows:

    var adminTree = new Application.AdminTree();

    Ok I found my problem and its a pretty dumb one .

    I had two trees and at first they both just had the same nodes. The problem was that both trees used the same name for the array the children used. I guess that when the second tree loaded it reloaded the first trees children as they had the same array name. I just didnt realize this was the problem as both trees had the same nodes before i started to change them around.

    Using seperate array names obviously fixed it.

    =/ Im dumb lol.
