    By default textfields not able to fire the events. you must be use

    xtype:'textfield',
    fieldLabel:'height(cm)',
    enableKeyEvents:true,
    listeners:{
    keyup :function(t,e){alert('keyup '+t)}
    }

    Keyup is slower when you want to edit the resulting text
