    Default ComboBox Ellipse Addition Request

    ComboBox Ellipse Addition Request

    Ext Team,

I have run across something that is causing some issues and was wondering if it would be possible to add ellipse similar to the grid ellipses when the cold is shorter then the word.

The visiual problem comes in IE7 where it moves the Horz scrol to the right and looks really bad. (See Screen shot)

The other problem comes in as I want to use the Name in the list as the value and if I change it to ellipse it is not the same value. I would not like to have to use 2 fields one for display and one for value if I don't have to. That is what I have to do for a workaround now but thought it might be useful if the CB had a built in ellipse method to keep the horzontal scrollbar from coming up. Ideally the best would be for the x-combo-list-inner to strech past the drop tag and expand wide to revel all the text. I know that may be a bit more difficult and see a use for both ideas.

    Keep up the good work.
