    Old forum inbox + bookmarked threads


    My inbox has been emptied when the forum moved to the new site :-( Is there any way of getting the info back? Also, all bookmarks to threads to the old site dont work

    (New site is fantastic though!)

    Jack somewhere said that they had tried to migrate everything to this new forum but the ID's was of different kind and they couldn't do an automatic mapping I'm in the same situation... with 100's of links to threads where the only identification is the title... we just have to do a search for each of them and make new links.

    Well assuming Jack used Impex to do the import then the post and threads table contain an imported id column that *could* be used to link the old posts to the new ones.

    I have used this on a few forums that I have converted to vBulletin to map old posts to new ones, helps with bookmarks and helps defend the rankings in google.

    For now I would let the team get 1.0 out
