Default drag drop from windows explorer into tree panel

drag drop from windows explorer into tree panel

    hi there,

does anyone know if its is possible to catch drops from the windows explorer in an ext tree panel? My aim is to use this as an upload possibility for a content management system.
I know that for firefox there is a plugin (dragdropload) which can do that. But i havent seen sth alike for internet explorer.

And: isnt there an easier way to readout file name and other information (size, ...) from the drag?

    Not possible.

I remember Yahoo were going to release some 'browser extender' at some point, but I can't really remember the name.
