I'm currently building a web 2.0 website. I'm using the complex BorderLayout thing on Ext. But i have two problems.

First problem, when i resize my browser window, the regions don't resize accordingly. I though the "center" region should be resized accordingly, but they don't.

Second problem. I use the Google Maps API. To use it, you have to create an empty <div> and the JS magic does the rest. So i placed the div in one of the panels i add to the "center" region. When i tried to set its height (style="height:100%"), it just makes it zero pixel high. So i hack-scripted a little thing that kind of works:
Code:
document.getElementById("map").style['height'] = layout.getRegion('center').getBox().height-50+"px";
Not only i don't like the idea of hard-scripting the "50", but it doesn't update when the window is resized or when other regions are resized...

I yet tried to search for answers in this forum and in docs, with no luck. I found some things, but couldn't get it to work...

Now i'll continue working on my code, which is available on the beta website...
So here are the files...
