Default EXTJS calendar replaced by Jquery calendar

EXTJS calendar replaced by Jquery calendar

When you go to edit date field in EXTJS you see the extjs calendar built in. Is there ANY way to replace that widget with the calendar from Jquery instead and still have it function properly?

Not really based on what I can see. It's just Boss' Boss has seen the Jquery calendar throughout the whole system thus far (it looks different) now we're replacing basically ALL tables within the system with EXTJS grids. The thing is we have one that ends up using the calendar because there are a bunch of editble fields and they have the little date icon there with EXTJS calendar built in..he wants those replaced with the Jquery calendar. It's not about the functionality but about the design..and with those calendars all over the system he doesn't want that to change all of a sudden on this one page.
    Any advice?

It should be easy for you to create a TriggerField subclass which pops up a jquery calendar.

I havent seen the jquery date selector, but perhaps another option would be to use css to make the Ext one look like it.
