    Default ct is null when rendering Ext.Panel to Div tag

    ct is null when rendering Ext.Panel to Div tag

    Any idea why this is giving me a "ct is null" exception?

    Code:
    Ext.onReady(new function() {
        var panel = new Ext.Panel({
            title: 'ddd',
            renderTo: 'panelcontainer',
            height: 500,
            layout: 'border',
            items: [{
                region: 'north',
                xtype: 'panel',
                html: 'North'
            },{
                region: 'west',
                xtype: 'panel',
                split: true,
                width: 200,
                html: 'West'
            },{
                region: 'center',
                xtype: 'panel',
                html: 'Center'
            },{
                region: 'east',
                xtype: 'panel',
                split: true,
                width: 200,
                html: 'East'
            },{
                region: 'south',
                xtype: 'panel',
                html: 'South'
            }]
        });
    panelcontainer markup looks like this:

    Code:
    <div id='panelcontainer' style='height:500px;width:500px'></div>

    I got this when my markup was incorrect - i copied a line from an email which used a different font style, and the " character looked the same but was actually different. Yours appears to be okay though.

    I am getting a similar problem.

    It does not show the error in FF3.0.15 but the error can be seen in FF3.5.5.

    Can someone help, PLEASE.
