Default Memory keeps increasing even if system left idle

Memory keeps increasing even if system left idle

    Extjs 2.0.2
    Internet Explorer 6
    Windows

I came across very strange issue in IE6, in which memory usage for IExplore process keeps on increasing (can see in the task manager - Processes - IExplore Process memory usage) Even if system is left idle in browser

Also, is their any patch for Extjs 2.0.2 application for internet explorer 6 because object memory is not released even if panel is destroyed or window is closed.

we had already develop huge application in extjs as like desktop application , it works fine and smooth in firefox but performance is really became bottleneck in IE.now this application is of no use until their is any feasible solution for application to work in IE.

Please any suggestion would be appreciated.

it is hard to judge why memory is 'leaking' in *your* application without proper analysis. Does it happen in the Ext examples?

also i applied JScript patch from microsoft for IE 6, application gets somewhat faster but still problem exist with memory leak issues.

we are using gwt-ext framework as wrapper over extjs , and i dont think so their is any memory leak problem with that.
