    Hello!

    Yesterday we released our second release candiate of Tine 2.0 Lara (2009/02).

    Tine 2.0 is an ExtJS based groupware/crm solution.

    Features include

    * Adressbook
    * Tasks
    * CRM
    * Timetracker
    * Asterisk integration
    * ActiveSync support
    * Export as PDF or Open Document

    This release contains minor bugfixes in all modules and we moved to ActiveSync code to a separate package to avoid patent problems for US-based users.

    Hi,

    You have a very nice application out there. Congrats!

    How much time took you to get it in the current state?

    Looks good. I like that filtering tool you have. I noticed a bit of a bug with it though. If you use the "-" to delete filters and you delete the filter when there is only one filter, then you lose the ability to see the "+" to add filters. I had to go to another accordion module and come back again to be able to reset it to show the "+" again.

    A minor remark about the styling. The top portion is loaded up with toolbars. I can see where a user kind of gets lost in them, not realizing where one starts/finishes. Take the filter tool for example. I could see some benefit in altering the css slightly to distinguish the levels of toolbars or panels up there a tad. I'm not saying to make it purple as a total contrast, but something slightly different to give a visual cue.

    Again, looks nice from a quick glance.

    I know diddly about synchronization, but just thought I'd post a link to another example out there in case you were not aware:

    I gather everyone wants to keep their widget propietary.

    What do you mean with proprietary? I'm a little bit confused as we don't have any proprietary code.

    Sorry, I didn't imply you. I meant what I linked to, plus your cautions about how part of the package wasn't included for US users because of patent rights, etc. I think the linked package has something of their own proprietary system, and on the wiki for that link mention how Apple, etc. has propietary stuff. So again, I wasn't implying you had something proprietary.
