Default New Iframe in ContentPanel from simple layout

New Iframe in ContentPanel from simple layout

Can somebody help me with how exactly I go about making a link in the west region of simple layout to open a new Iframe in the center region?

I know I probably need to get some of the feed-viewer.js code involved but not sure where to start.

I am fairly new to ext and could use some very specific help.
I know this is probably an easy question for those who have been around for a while.
But with newbie like skills... it's pretty confusing.

    Thanks in advance
    Jeremy

The Ext API Doc page is exactly what you need. Leafs of the tree in the left region are links clicking on which opens the iframe content in the center region. Look at the code of that page.

    Sort of what I need...
Except I am looking for new TABS to open in new Iframes...
Similar to how Feed Viewer > View In New Tab works.

    Thanks

    Can anyone help?

I think once I get headed in the right direction I can figure it out...
Just not sure how to get a link that will open a new separate IFRAME in the content region.

    Thanks
    Jeremy

    Hmm,

if you want new tabs in the page the src attrib of iframe points to then you have to create them in that loaded page.

If you want to create new tabs that contain iframe just create new tab and new iframe element in that new tab modeling your code after Feed Viewer.

This is all that comes to my mind. Somebody else?

The domino yui project is based off of yui-ext 0.33 I think. Rich Waters, myself, and Jake Howlett have combined our Ext + Domino projects into Ext.nd.
