    Default propertyGrid use

    propertyGrid use

    I took the desktop example and added a property grid code

    PHP Code:
        var propertyGrid = new Ext.grid.PropertyGrid({

    title'Properties Grid',

    id'propGrid',

    autoHeighttrue,

    width300,

    renderTo'grid-ct',

    source: {} //initialize source config object

    });
    I am getting some JS error in firebug like t is null in DomHelper.
    Also this message shows up
    MyDesktop.GridWindow is not a constructor

    My question is whether we can use propertygrid in Desktop applications?

    sure you can. it needs to be a child of a container. your posted grid, it's a stand-alone component rendered to a div on a page.

    Already I have following inside my code , a panel and a grid
    PHP Code:
       createWindow : function(){
            var
    desktop this.app.getDesktop();
            var
    win desktop.getWindow('grid-win');
            if(!
    win){

    win desktop.createWindow({

    id'grid-win',

    title:'Grid Window',

    width:740,

    height:480,

    iconCls'icon-grid',

    shim:false,

    animCollapse:false,

    constrainHeader:true,

    layout'fit',

    items       :[navgrid]
                });
            }
    I thought I can add propertygrid also next to this list of items for testing. It does not accept the property at all

    Just add the property grid in the sample.js in the example, it will fail
