Exclamation Help Authoring Tools for ExtJS/LAMP

    Help Authoring Tools for ExtJS/LAMP

Does anybody know of a good application-level help authoring toolkit that I could use to add a help system to my ExtJS applications. We are developing in the LAMP environment.

I envision something where I could assign an ID to a Field Level or Page Level help file (stored in a database) and clicking on a "?" icon or pressing F1 would activate an ExtJS iFrame or other window that would show context sensitive help file for the user.

I'd like to store my help files in a database so I could quickly edit them as the application evolves. There are help authoring tools for Windows (robohelp), Javahelp or Yelp(GNOME), but I have not seen anything for LAMP/ExtJS.

    Thanks,

    Matt

Can't you just do an ajax request to poll the backend?
