GSlender announced "Charting will also have breaking changes between M1 and M2 ;-)"

I'm working on a project (GXT2.0M1) where our next step is to implement charting facilities, but we don't wanna do this if the changes are too many.

So can you tell a little bit more about the changes ? Will it be total waste of time to start with M1 ??
