    Default Migration to 3.0

    Migration to 3.0

I have an application in Ext 2.2. Is there some universal reason to migrate to 3.0 such as speed, lower footprint, smaller file size, etc?

Have you read the blog posts on 3.0 and 3.0 Core? http://extjs.com/blog

Related question (and yes, I have read the 3.0 blog posts): is there, or will there be, a 2.2 -> 3.0 migration guide? This would be very useful I think. I also have a 2.2 application and would like to migrate to 3.0 because I could use the new features.

Thanks a lot for the enormous amount of work put into 3.0!

I've tried to change my apps to ext 3.0.
Main Problem's i had was with button styling, grid renderer functions and with some menues wich will be dynamicly generated. Menu stuff was because Ext3.0 has a cleanup mechanism wich really destroy all childs of a component...

Bumping this thread up. I am curious as well if there will be a migration guide just like the last time.
