Default [FIXED] [3.0rc1.1] Weird behavior of Slider on IE

[FIXED] [3.0rc1.1] Weird behavior of Slider on IE

    Hi,

Found some bug on 3.0 slider when it's run on IE. If scroll bar appears on IE on a page with slider, scroll down the page and the slider position will go to the end of the slider and other weird behaviors.

You can check out the online Ext 3.0 rc1.1 example here

    http://extjs.com/deploy/ext-3.0-rc1.1/examples/slider/slider.html

Browse on IE and make the window show the scroll bar then scroll down and test the slider.

I tested this with IE8 and today's build from svn (post RC2). Can you test this again and report your finding with the latest version at your disposal?

I can confirm this one, it's quite odd.

I tested RC2 but still the same.

I have tried to trace the slider code and find out for myself what's wrong. It took me to the ext adapter when tracing and thought that it might be the retrieval of mouse position.

I tried to use the jQuery adapter and then tested it and it worked. The slider thumb is positioning correctly even when I scroll down on IE.

Also, the quick tip bug (which has the same positioning bug. posted here) now positions correctly under IE.

I tested it on 2 machines running IE 8 and a machine on IE 7.

Just an update: this issue appears to be still OPEN as of now, but the plan is to defer this until after the release of 3.0 final.
