Default Combo and special characters

Combo and special characters

Hello.
I saw a few threads here with the same problem as mine but i didn't find the solution.
A screenshot is better than an explanation.

Here is the dropdown list. Everything is fine.

And then...

Here is my code:
xtype: 'combo',
mode: 'local',
triggerAction: 'all',
hiddenName: 'loginLanguage',
forceSelection: 'true',
readOnly: 'true',
fieldLabel: _LANGUAGE,
name: 'loginLanguage',
anchor: '100%',
store: new Ext.data.ArrayStore({
fields: [
'lang',
'text'
],
data: [['en', 'English'], ['fr', 'Français'], ['pt_BR', 'Portugues']]
}),
displayField: 'text',
valueField: 'lang'
Any idea?

Thanks.

I would think the obvious solution is to not have characters as HTML entities in your store. I cut and pasted your code into firebug, and changed the ç in the datastore to ç - it works fine.

your solution is saving your source file as utf-8...

well, i got the same problem, but in my project i cannot save as utf8, can anyone suggest any workarounds?

while ≤ ( ≤ - &# 8804; ) and ≥ ( ≥ - &# 8805; ) characters took 2bytes i cannot save them in an ascii file
