Sadly the documentation is sparse (although advertised as "fullly documented source code", this is not quite true; doc on every method - yes, helpful doc on every method - not really).
My two tips are: Check the javadoc and then if required check the source code. It's trivial to add the GXT2.0.zip as a source attachement to eclipse and the code is readable.
From the javadoc:
- FormData(java.lang.String anchorSpec) takes an anchorSpec
- AnchorSpec is used by the AnchorLayout (of which FormLayout is a sub-class)
- AnchorLayout java doc specifies the anchorSpec string as:
which is a string containing two values: the horizontal anchor value and the vertical anchor value (for example, '100% 50%'). This value is what tells the layout how the item should be anchored to the container. The following types of anchor values are supported...
