Exclamation Dynamicall size of Portal & Portlets

Dynamicall size of Portal & Portlets

Hi, i'm a bit new here. I've tired to search for answer to my question but i couldn't find it.

Is it possible to make portlets resizable?
And if so, is it possible to change number of portal columns dynamically, during runtime?

For example if i have 3 portal columns, where i added 3 portlets, one in each column. If i close one portlet, i want to have remaining 2 portles in 2 columns, filling up my screen, so one extra column should be removed.

Or when i add one portlet in portal with one column, and i rezise it to add more, number of columns should be increased acordind to portlet's size...

By the way, when i change number of columns to 2 or 1, i get empty page..

    Thanks for answers

I think you have to create a new portal instance, as the layoutContainers for the columns gets created in the Portals constructor (and all variables are private so no subclassing).

I have a dropdown where the user selects 2 or 3 columns, when the selection changes I remove the old portal, create a new and add it to the page [and call layout()].
