Send Error messages in ext 2.0

    Hi all.

I'm needing to send the error messages to be displayed in red next to text field, so we can choose from the server-side in wich language we will display this error, whitout reloading the page. I know that in ext 3.0 this is possible, but we are still using 2.0. Is there any way to do it?

    Thanks!

I don't see your problem. All msgTarget values from Ext 3 are supported by Ext 2.

Do you mean that this should work on 2.0??

Alter Validation Behavior Validation behavior for each field can be configured:
    • invalidText : the default validation message to show if any validation step above does not provide a message when invalid

    it doesnt work
