jack has left extjs?
jack has left extjs?
Looking at the svn log, I haven't seen Jack touching the source tree for months.
I'm suspecting that he has left extjs like Brian Moeskau.
Maybe related to extjs getting VC money and moving to the bay area?

To be honest, after some intensive months with Flex I am back at ExtJS, because I really love this famous set of both standard and ux components. As I met ExtJS for first time and as I learned to use ExtJS in my first projects I really enjoyed the presence and help of Jack. So I really hope that he will be back in near future

I liked the innovations thanks to Jack.
To be honest I see a stop in innovations from ExtJS and a loss of quality since Jack "stopped working".

Why this long winded speculative thread? It should be quite easy for any Ext employee to answer this question..

If Jack has left the company, then why would it be a secret? Happens all the time in all businesses.

Could not agree any more!
From 1.0 to 2.0, from 2.0 to 3.0 it's fast paced and feature packed.
Now 3.1 took so long to finish and promise for ui designer is broken and with so many regression bugs, I'm disappointed.
VC shouldn't have kicked him out. He invented extjs.
The management need to come up with a way to fix this mess.

Jack's still a part of the company. Though, by his choice, he's less involved with the day to day.
Closing thread.
