    Which open source license?


    Hi!

    I've created a filter builder control, and I'm planing to create some diagram drawing control built the top of GWT. I would like to upload the code onto code.google.com. Which open source license is recommended? Is there a restriction by ExtJS?

    In my code, I would like to extend classes from the GXT lib.

    Sounds like a great UX.

    If your extension requires GXT but does not use any code from library, you are able to release your extension under a liberal license (free for commercial usage) using our FLOSS exception.

    I'm only extending classes, but I don't modify the GXT library classes.
    I'm thinking to have my code under GPL v3.

    What is the normal license information I have to put into the header of each file?
