Are you familiar with Speed Tracer? I would very much be interested in seeing your analysis using that tool rather than just the average end-times.

What is "Build D3" referred to below? Is it the patch from post
If so, is it applicable to svn rev 5977 (current as of right now)?
I need to demo a very complex app to my client and have been sliding it day by day hoping for some real improvement in performance...

it load will reduce all of your text files load times especially those .js files.

It's been crazy testing, benchmarking and at one point screaming when the numbers were heading much the other way as far as performance goes.
