CSS Sprite Icons fail when frame: true

I need a fresh set of eyes on this issue. I have converted many of the icons in my app to a single image (CSS Sprite) and everything looks pretty good in my app except icons for panels/forms where frame: true.

I've attached two images of the same FormPanel, one with frame: true and one without.

I noticed apparently the way Ext handles iconCls for panels with frames is quite different than for those without. I'm not sure why it looks just fine without the sprite image and is wrong with the sprite.

Any tips?
