ah, forget to tell: the demo is optimized for firefox! google chrome and safari should also do quite good, ie7 and 8 still have some rough edges.

finally, the migration to the new ext-3.2-beta is finished and i set up the new demo under: LINK
the old one is also still online, so that you can compare between the 2 ext-releases.
if you would like to get an account, just ask
the new module will take a bit more time.
kind regards,

hi together,
since 2 people asked, if you have to enter the events manually while creating a reservation: no, you don't. i created a tutorial on facebook how to use the multiselection-model in the daily view to create a reservation series:
Tutorial
just click on the image to get to the next on (15 in total).
the tutorial also shows how to resize and move events using drag and drop.
feedback appreciated and please tell me via an aswer here or on the facebook-wall, so that other users have a chance to discuss about this as well.
kind regards,
tobiu

so, the new shiny widget is ready =)
i tried to make a video, but i could not get the quality good enough that the animations look nice. i will try again tomorrow.
in the calendar daily-view, there is an interval-selection-combo now.
if you change the interval for example from 60 to 30 minutes, the events / boxes will leave the dom of the grid, the grid in the background will increase in rows (twice as much in this case). then the boxes will fly to their new positions, resize and return into the dom of the grid, so that they listen to events like resizing of columns again.
of course, this was inspired by the multisort-dataview-demos.
you can log into the 3.2 demo and see this eye-catching feature.
feedback appreciated.
kind regards and good night,
tobiu

so, thanks to sebastian (we recorded this on his mac) we now have a youTube-video of the improved daily-view event management.
i strongly recommend this to see, what is possible based on an ext-grid.
