So here is the problem and solution - Firefox SQLiteManager Add-on 3.16 CANNOT be trusted.
I create a database from scratch using the SQLite3 command line and all my views are accessible without any problems.
The I tested accessing the database created with SQLiteManager Add-on and found that my views never appeared in teh sqlite_master table !!!!
Well, at least I don't need to pay for a hair cut this month, as I've gone bald from Firefox, my first ever disaproval of one of their products.
