    Default Multiple windows issue

    Multiple windows issue

I was trying to google this, but to no avail. I have two buttons that bring up different windows. When I open up one window and hit the cancel button to close it, then
open up the next window, this window has the same components as the first window.
Or, we get other graphic anomolies.

I think perhaps what the issue is, is that I am not destroying any components in that window. When you use a hide() function, that keeps the components around? Do I
need to have an autodestroy set or something? Use a close?

    Thanks!

    More explanation

Basically, I have two buttons on a large form. One button opens up one window, and the other the other window. I want to be able to open up and cancel if need be either
window. It appears that the second window's widgets inside get clobbered by the
first window's widgets. Nothing is named the same, etc. It appears to be some sort of
    close/hide issue.

If need be, I can post code tonight, as where I am now I have no access to my code.

Without seeing code I don't think anyone can help much, but I seem to remember having similar problems, which I ended up finding out were caused by a typo that caused duplicate id's for different components.

    Thanks

I had to rename a widget inside my window. Works now.

"id" would do it. Avoid using id at all costs.
