Default GMapPanel Gmap tiles missing in TabPanel

GMapPanel Gmap tiles missing in TabPanel

    Hi,

For a project I'm working on I am trying to integrate Google Maps in to a TabPanel.

I used the excellent Ext.ux.GMapPanel for this - and the results are overall good however I am unable to weed out this one little bug.

Please refer to the image below.

As you can see on app start the Gmap view correctly sizes it self to the TabPanel container however inside this the Gmap it's getting it's own height wrong because it does not bother to load the lower row of tiles.? When panning around does not fix the problem.

If I re-size the browser the Gmap corrects it self and the problem goes away.

Try as I might I am unable to get this to load correctly in the first instance, even if I force resize of the GmapPanel and then do a doLayout(false, true); or call the superclass.onResize.call(this, w, h); as the GMapPanel does.

For some reason the Gmap gets an event when I resize the window and hence my panel layout, but I cant workout what this is.

    Code:
    pnl: new Ext.ux.GMapPanel({
    	iconCls:'icon-mapping',
    	id: 'GMapPanel',
    	closable: false,
    	title: 'Mapping',
    	xtype: 'gmappanel',
    	region: 'center',
    	layoutOnTabChange: true,
    	zoomLevel: 14,
    	gmapType: 'map',
    	mapConfOpts: ['enableScrollWheelZoom', 'enableDoubleClickZoom', 'enableDragging'],
    	mapControls: ['GLargeMapControl3D', 'GMapTypeControl', 'GOverviewMapControl', 'NonExistantControl'],
The parent TabPanel is defined like this

    Code:
     new Ext.TabPanel({
                    region:'center',
                    deferredRender:false,
                    forceLayout:true,
                    autoHeight:false,
                    activeTab:0,
    		id:'documents_panel',
    		resizeTabs:true,
    		minTabWidth: 115,
      		tabWidth:135,
    		Height:40,
    		enableTabScroll:true,
    		defaults: {autoScroll:false, height:40, hideMode:'offsets'},
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Wow writing this thread helped me solve it.. I was so blind, What's that height:40 doing in the tabPanel defaults anyway?
