Ext Designer - qt environment - open source?
Ext Designer - qt environment - open source?
Hi guys,
I must say that the EXT designer looks great. I can see that QT framework has been used in the built and it just looks great. I was wondering if the toolbar that is dockable and contains the accordion style controls is something that you guys have created from scratch or was it part of some QT widgets?
Also is there an open source version of Ext Designer so we can maybe have a look at some of the components and learn something nice. Its is a greatly designed application.
Sincerely
Dan

All of the components you see are Ext JS controls and built with Ext, HTML & CSS.
There is no intent to publish an open source version at this time.Aaron Conran

I agree. Since Titanium stopped supporting desktops it would be great to be able to get the QT shell you used so we could create our own Ext JS apps for the desktop. Any possibility of getting our hands just on the QT portion? i think it would help Ext JS programmers a lot.

There is no intent to open source the Qt version, though we may show customers how we are building future desktop versions of software in the coming months.
