Live Grid Scrollbars inoperable in Firefox on Ubuntu
We are starting a new project and are planning on using LiveGrid extensively.
Our development will be done in Firefox on Ubuntu.
However, I noticed that with the first sample Live Grid that I added to our project, that the scrollbars on the grid are inoperable (see attached picture); the scrollbars seems disabled and all the normal scrollbars aren't even visible. Trying to page or anything using the scrollbar does not work.
At this point I dropped back to just running the sample live grid demo from your site directly and I can see the same thing there, so it has nothing to do with my project specifically. I tried in both FF 3.5.9 and 3.6.3. Seems like a CSS issue maybe, but I really don't know.
$ uname -a
Linux ubuntu 2.6.31-20-generic #58-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 12 05:23:09 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
I am running Ubuntu in a VM on Windows XP in VMWare Player, but I don't think that part should matter?
Let me know what else I can tell you... in the meantime, I'll continue to have a few more coworkers verify that this is consistent. There are at least 2 of us seeing this.
So i was able to reproduce it. But this looks unfixable. FF displays the scrollbar and the element also has the correct height. It looks as if the scrollelement inside the bar is missing for some reason.
I did not realize linux wasn't on the supported list. Do you know when it will be?
Also - interestingly enough, I have 1 coworker who is also running FF 3.5.9 on Ubuntu and it works for her. We have not been successful so far in figuring out what might be different enough in her environment to account for this though.
