HTMLeditor field and <object> tags

Hi everyone,

I don't know if this is a bug, intended behavior or just lack of
knowledge from my behalf, so I'll take my chances and post it here:

Does the HTML editor field support <object> tags ? What I am trying to
do is paste some <object> (i.e. Youtube embedding code) in the HTML
source, but when I switch to normal view, the video is not there. If I
change back to source view, the html code is all there.

So is this a bug, by design or am I missing something ?
