As a noobie to Ext I was initially overwhelmed where to look for guidance. There are several resources which may take you a while to digest (API docs, forums, user manuals, tutorials, examples). I threw this tutorial up for those that come looking here before finding their way in the forums.
The essence of this tutorial, for now, is in the forum thread. The code is overly commented and self explanatory, but if I discover some parts need further explanation I'll update the code blocks in the forum or provide additional description here. The forum has all of the complete code along with a download file package in the first post (html, php, sql, and js files included).
